Our downstairs bathroom
What an interesting title, huh? But that is all the post is about and it's been a long day at work so my creative juices are not flowing. I tried to take pictures of our remodeled bathroom but the color turned out looking really weird. So I made a video instead. I should have added inspirational music to make it even cooler. Next time maybe.

Red is the color of the day
We hope you had a great Valentine's Day. I have to make a conscious effort to take pictures on any occasions, but I managed to remember this time. So, rather than wait three weeks to put them up as seems to be my habit, I'm actually going to make a punctual post this time! This was my Valentine's day present from my wonderful husband.

I have to wear slippers around our house in the winter because the floors get so cold, and for the last few weeks I have been stealing Joel's (which were a Christmas present from Kate and Davey, pathetic of me, isn't it?). So he bought me a pair of my own! And they're very cute, wouldn't you say? He also gave me a lovely bouquet of roses.

And I got him this wonderful Rugby t-shirt. You probably can't see it from the picture, but the design is the Dublin Rugby team. They're sponsored by Guinness, fyi. He's doing his best model pose.

After working on our downstairs bathroom for some of the morning, we are happy to announce that it's finished!! At least, everything except the door to the closet, which will be a more difficult problem. But since we have friends coming to stay with us next weekend, we are thrilled to be able to offer them an almost completely finished bathroom. Sorry Mom and Dad Cohen, a few more weeks and you could have experienced the new and improved bathroom as well. Next time. That will hopefully be my next post, a couple pictures of the lovely remodeling. I made cupcakes for Joel and we went on a long walk since it was sunny and (relatively) warm. What a great day!

Curioser and curioser
We've probably been doing noteworthy things as well, but this is way cooler than an update on us.
