When I came home from California my laurel bushes and hydrangea and dahlia were still dead. That's fine, really, I wasn't expecting any different from them. But what really gets my goat is that when I walked around to the side of our house I found a fabulous rose bush in full bloom, spouting fushia roses galore. And I didn't even know it was there....
Apparently plants do better when I'm not helping them.
I just noticed that both this post and my last one were pity parties... time to think of something uplifting...
I did make a wonderfully successful batch of chocolate chip scones! And yesterday the Whammers won, 14 to 2. Go Whammers! Wham 'Em! Joel did great, he made a difficult catch which got a lot of cheers from the bleachers.
Oh, and Sunny I will send you pictures from the trip as soon as I find my camera cord. :)
